“There are three different types of home depending on the location, slope and shape of the field. Stage 1 are “cross-over house,” said Owen. In this house, the upper deck, which contains the living spaces, is oriented east / west and the lower level rooms term north / south. This allows the house to sit on the slope with minimal impact. The top floor maximizes sun exposure North while the lower level is headed to the beach. This design allows for a large area north of the bridge across the living room with its headquarters above the room. Thus sustainable simple principles to achieve a genuine sculptural form.

Owen said: “The houses have an impression of gradual own contemporary lines. We sought to create a lifestyle, but at the same time houses are clad in timber and natural materials so that they fit in the natural landscape. We also designed the house using the principles of sustainable design. We have always said that we should have a house where a water tank would be out of place. ” Because the site has a strong character bush, the landscape is an integral part of the design.
